Vascular Surgery Unit Family Day 2025
The Vascular Surgery Unit held its Family Day on 9–10 August 2025 at a scenic retreat centre, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and relaxation among staff members. The event began with registration, lunch, and chalet check-in, followed by a lively paintball session that encouraged friendly competition and first-time experiences for many participants.
In the evening, members enjoyed a BBQ dinner complemented by board games, chess, carrom, and congkak, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. The next morning featured a sukan rakyat session led by the retreat crew, promoting fun physical activities, followed by a short hike to the peak for panoramic views.
The programme concluded with a closing ceremony where feedback and suggestions for future events were shared, reflecting the group’s commitment to continuous improvement. Through a balance of recreational activities and team bonding, the Family Day strengthened relationships and boosted morale within the Vascular Surgery Unit.
